The Helion XP boasts an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix 640x480 px, at 17 µm, for highly detailed imaging.
The Helion line of optics has an integrated recorder that allows for video and image capturing. Both videos and photos can be saved on the optic itself then transferred to your computer with the included cable or via WIFI
The actual detection range of a person (1.8x0.5m) in the field with normal cloths on against a forest background is about 1800 meters depending on the model.
Helion includes a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5, 5 A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 8 hrs. of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS10 battery packs, as well as CR123A and AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution.
Helion has a stadiametric rangefinder performed in the shape of rangefinding reticle which enables distance measuring to observed objects with known height (deer - 1,7 m; boar – 0,7 m; hare – 0,3 m) with a sufficient precision.
Designed to increase imaging clarity and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and enhanced object identification capabilities.
In addition to user-favorite “white hot” and “black hot” imaging, Helion offers a robust array of 8 color palettes for true colorized temperature mapping. Transitioning from color to default “white hot” during operation is also fast and easy.
The highlight of the Helion is the ability to link via Wi-Fi the device with Android and iOS based mobile units using the free mobile application Stream Vision. The Stream Vision software connects the device with Android / iOS mobile unit (smartphone or tablet) which enables you to receive footage in the real time mode, to distantly operate the device with your smartphone, as well to stream online the image captured by the device to YouTube.
