Order Picker

Job Description
We are looking for an energetic Order Picker to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders. An order picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and deft with an ability to “pick up” on small details. We expect you to be “picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders.


Responsibilities
 • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
 • Picking orders as requested by management.
 • Confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
 • Locate products using technology.
 • Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
 • Loading and unloading trucks by using totes, jacks and forklifts.
 • Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations.
 • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
 • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
 • Assisting in maintaining security of warehouse.
 • Contribute to a team effort.
 • Assist in other areas as needed.

 

Skills
 • 1+ year experience as order picker or other warehouse position.
 • Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment.
 • Able to read and write in English.
 • Great attention to detail.
 • Diligent and punctual.
 • Good physical strength and stamina.
 • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
 • Must pass background check.
 • On feet majority of the day.

Shipping & Receiving

Job Purpose:
 Responsible for warehouse and shipping duties.


Job Duties:

 • Accurately read and fill orders by packing, protecting and labeling packages.
 • Ship items by verifying information, quantity and condition of items.
 • Documents by initialing items shipped are verified as accurate.
 • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed material and assisting in placing order for materials.
 • Daily shop maintenance and organization.
 • Contribute to a team effort.
 • Assist in other areas as needed.

Firearms Sales Specialist

Job Purpose:
Provide customer service support to walk-in retail and phone-in customers for a high volume wholesale retail distributor. Must be able to multi task to provide the highest quality customer service.


Job Duties:

 • Provide customer service to both walk-in and phone-in customers. Assist them with answering questions, providing them with promotional deals, directing them the correct department or assisting them with custom build firearms.
 • Provide customer with product information ranging from handguns, rifle systems, ammunition, optics, and a wide range of accessories.
 • Extensive computer work utilizing Netsuite for data entry of customer profile, estimates, invoices, payments and product search.
 • Process end of day sales statement by totaling checks, cash, credit cards and gift cards.
 • Restock shelves in retail shopping area.
 • Ensures products in retail area are marked correctly.
 • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
 • Work occasional Tuesday – Saturday schedule.

 

Skills/Qualifications:
 • Knowledge of firearms, long range shooting, optics, suppressors, night vision and accessories is highly preferred.
 • Extensive customer service and listening skills a must.
 • Ability to sell product via telephone or in person.

Retail Operations Manager

Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to provide oversight for all operations of our high-traffic Firearms store. The Retail Manager leads all operations at the location and is responsible for making sure the store functions smoothly while optimizing profits. The Retail Manager will direct restocking efforts, the floor merchandising plan, scheduling and training. In this position, the Manager must be able to garner respect and motivate personnel to perform at their maximum capacity, keeping the store in good working order. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sales, staff training, merchandising, ordering, and marketing as well as strong people-skills.


Job Duties:

 • Recruit and hire new employees
 • Train, manage, and regularly evaluate staff performance
 • Insure all employees are knowledgeable to ATF and NFA Regulations needed to perform their Jobs and keep Mile High Compliant with all Regulations
 • Manage all store operations and delegate responsibilities
 • Supervise employees, providing coaching and mentorship to optimize productivity and increase sales
 • Set and monitor store’s budget, making every effort to maximize efficiency and profits
 • Manage appropriate levels of stock and purchases while staying on budget
 • Address customer complaints/feedback in a professional manner
 • Plan and execute specials and promos, including year-end clearance sales
 • Maintain current knowledge of market/trends
 • Analyze and predict sales, and sale trends to make informed decisions
 • Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines
 • Conduct discipline, coaching, and, when necessary, termination of employees
 • Protect against loss by monitoring security, training staff and maintaining security cameras

 

Skills/Qualifications:
 • Experience in relevant field; Experience and Knowledge of Firearms, Class III and ATF Compliance. Business and Marketing Experience, Sales experience in Retail and Phone Sales
 • Previous history as retail manager or in other managerial position
 • Strong working knowledge of management best practices
 • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
 • Exceptional organization, strategic planning, and leadership skills
 • Strong Marketing and Promotional planning with an eye for merchandising a showroom
 • Familiarity with data analysis and customer traffic principles
 • Computer skills, including retail management software
 • Identification of New Products and Services to keep current in the Firearms Industry for Mile High
 • Solution-Driven with the ability to work through a problem and maintain focus under pressure
