HUXWRX: HX-QD 556 + 556 Flash Hider

An extremely rugged suppressor, the HX-QD® 556 – updated with the newly designed flash cap – is built with patented and proven OSS Flow-Through® technology, delivers hearing safe mid-130s dB and zero flash performance, is full-auto rated, easily passes the USSOCOM Reliability Stress Test, and has no minimum barrel restrictions – it’s the ideal suppressor for all 5.56 rifles.

Compatible with Muzzle Brake-QD 556 and Flash Hider-QD 556.

HUXWRX patented OSS Flow-Through® Technology virtually eliminates blowback and toxic gas that can affect weapon system performance and shooter health. Engineered to deliver superior sound suppression without adversely affecting the weapon system, it operates and functions as it would unsuppressed.

The unique design utilizes deflectors and coils to direct hot, expanding gases away from the bore-line, routing them forward through the suppressor and away from the shooter’s face, eyes, and lungs. Materials & Finish: Unlike traditional suppressors that manage trapped gas, intense heat and pressure with blast baffles, OSS Flow-Through® technology redirects expanding gases forward allowing us to use 17-4 stainless steel deflectors and internal Grade 5 Titanium coils. The result is a remarkably cooler and extremely durable suppressor. The HX-QD 556 has a fully-welded outer body made of 17-4 heat treated stainless steel coated with C-series high temperature black Cerakote®.

Sound Pressure Levels:  The HX-QD 556 is the optimal choice for the widest range of 5.56 caliber rifles. Sound pressure levels are measured at the shooters ear to comply with current military specifications:

• 130 – 134 dB on 20” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo
• 133 – 137 dB on 16” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo
• 138 – 142 dB on 10.5” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo

Once your suppressor purchase is finalized with Mile High Shooting, a Form 3 will be filed with the ATF requesting approval to transfer your suppressor to your chosen FFL. Initial processing can take 3-7 business days. Customers may help expedite this time frame by requesting the chosen FFL to send a copy of their FFL & SOT to ffl@milehighshooting.com. Please note, initial processing time may be delayed further if your chosen FFL fails to provide required documentation in a timely manner. Once submitted, it takes 7-21 days for Mile High Shooting to receive the Form 3 approval. As soon as the approval is received, your suppressor and any accessories will be shipped to your chosen FFL within 24-48 business hours by 2 Day Air. Your chosen FFL will then contact you once it is received and you may complete your Form 4 processing at their facility.

Mile High Shooting Accessories (MHSA) will only ship suppressors to Class III FFL holders. BATF regulation information for Suppressor ownership are as follows:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be a U.S. citizen. 
Have no felony convictions or domestic violence convictions. 
Have no dishonorable discharge. 
Not deemed mentally unstable by a competent authority. 

The NFA rules/laws are posted through the BATF website. At this time, the following states DO NOT ALLOW private ownership of suppressors: CA, MA, DE, HI, NJ, NY, RI, IL, District of Columbia. CA allows class 3 dealers and class two manufacturers to possess suppressors.
