Thunder Beast: Dedicated Suppressor Upper - 5.56 NATO w/TAKE DOWN

Thunder Beast : DSU

The DSU complete upper has been specified and put together specifically to run the 556 TAKE DOWN suppressor with minimal blowback, and to run reliably in a dedicated suppressed fashion with mil-spec ammunition. This upper was designed to meter at about 140 dB at the shooter's ear and at the mil-spec muzzle position.

The 556 TAKE DOWN suppressor is permanently pinned to the barrel, preventing the requirement of a registered SBR lower receiver. With the front-serviceability of the 556 TAKE DOWN, this combination can still easily be maintained and repaired.
