Tab Gear: Rear Bag Large 30oz
TAB Gear
Product Description
These bags are very versatile. They are rectangular-shaped to allow 3 different height variations: flat, short side, and long side. They are filled with just enough plastic beads to make it easy to adjust the height by simply squeezing or relaxing your hold on the bag. The corner loop is easily attached to a carabiner for easy carry. The webbing that runs longways on one side and across the bag on the other side provides a simple way to attach the bag to your rifle by running the bipod legs through them. You can also carry it easily by running your hand through the straps.

‘‘This a well made bag that is easy to adjust the elevation of your rifle on either the side or end. Well worth the cost.
I finally made the investment in a commercial rear bag, and this bag works extremely well. Previously I had been using the "filled sock" home-brewed rear support or a commercial leather "bunny ear" bag with a bi-pod. In comparison, this TAB rear bag is much more accommodating of different heights and surfaces. It also is much more easily adjustable and by placing all or part of your hand within one of the straps, it makes for a much more versatile support than my previous bags, and is significantly more stable.
This is a very well made bag and is of very good quality from the stitching to the fabric. Very easy to make adjustments with it from any angle. For the price you will not find a better quality rear bag than Tab!
I find it more versatile than my old small rear bunny ear bag since I can reorient this and squeeze for different heights needed. It appears to be really sturdy. I just started using it and had to get a carabiner to clip it to my vest when moving as I left it in one spot, and had some trouble finding it with its camo pattern.
I was needing 2 bags and talked to the folks at Mile High and they suggested that i try the rear bag also, the tab gear STR8 would work good for the rifle hold and i might need one to support the rear stock as a prop up or added support. Well, they were right. When you need a little more secure hold, this bag does the trick. Best thing is they don't weigh very much. Good Product.
This is what i was looking for, it is very easy to hold and squeeze to the proper position. In saw Frank on Snipers Hide using one of these and had to try it. I;m glad i did. Try one and you will see what i mean.
Stitching is very good quality, durable. Fabric is strong. A high quality bag overall. Would definitely buy it again. Use it on deployments for my agency's call outs, paired with a .308 bolt action gun. Haven't tried it with a .556 yet.
This bag seems very well made and sized perfectly for tactical use. Not too heavy to carry around. Sewn in loop adds versatility. Could even be used as a front rest in certain situations.
Hi,
I purchased a couple of the TAB rear bags when they first came out and I didn't care for them much - the filling can best be described as bouncy or rubbery.
Recently I borrowed a friend's TAB bag and noticed the filling was improved. I purchased my own and am very happy with it. The filling is solid but reacts very well when squeezed. It's hard to describe, but it is exactly what I've been looking for in a bag.
