MDT Chassis

MDT currently produces three distinct chassis platforms, and Mile High Shooting stocks all three for Remington 700 short action and long action footprints. Each chassis shares MDT's V-block bedding, AICS-pattern magazine compatibility, and a commitment to modularity, but they differ significantly in weight, forend length, and intended application.

ACC Elite

The ACC Elite is MDT's flagship competition chassis. Built from CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, it features a 19-inch M-LOK forend with a full-length integrated ARCA rail. The bare chassis weighs approximately 6.1 lbs and can accept both interior and exterior steel weights for maximum system weight before adding your action, barrel, and optic. The SRS-X Elite buttstock adjusts for length of pull, cheek height, and cant without tools, and the vertical grip includes an adjustable M-LOK thumb rest.

ACC Premier Gen2

The ACC Premier Gen2 shares the ACC platform's core design philosophy but uses a shorter 15-inch forend that accommodates barrels starting at 17 inches. It weighs approximately 4.8 lbs at its base and supports up to 9 additional pounds of steel through internal and external weight mounting points. The forend includes an integrated 1.75-inch barricade stop and a full-length ARCA rail with eight M-LOK slots per side. Mile High Shooting stocks the ACC Premier Gen2 in both standard and folding buttstock configurations for Remington 700 short action and long action CIP footprints.

HNT26

The HNT26 is MDT's purpose-built hunting chassis, named for its starting weight of just 26 ounces. It achieves that figure through a magnesium alloy base paired with a carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock. The folding buttstock version adds roughly 5 ounces, bringing total chassis weight to approximately 31 ounces. Despite its light weight, the HNT26 still provides V-block bedding, length of pull and comb adjustments, AICS magazine compatibility, and an optional ARCA-integrated forend. Mile High Shooting carries the HNT26 for Remington 700 short action and long action CIP in both fixed and folding stock configurations.

All three MDT chassis systems share V-block bedding and AICS magazine compatibility, so the choice comes down to what you plan to do with the rifle. Weight, forend length, and adjustability are the key differentiators.

For PRS and NRL Competition

Competition shooters typically need a chassis that can be loaded with weight for stability on barricades and props. The ACC Elite's 19-inch forend and capacity for over 10 lbs of additional weight make it the heaviest-duty option in the lineup. The ACC Premier Gen2 offers a similar weight system in a slightly more compact package with its 15-inch forend, and the folding stock variant adds portability for travel to matches. Both feature fully adjustable buttstocks, integrated ARCA rails, and M-LOK mounting throughout.

For Hunting and Field Use

The HNT26 was designed specifically for hunters who want chassis-level adjustability without the weight penalty of a traditional aluminum platform. At 26 to 31 ounces depending on configuration, it pairs well with lightweight barrels and compact optics for backcountry builds. The folding stock version reduces overall length for packing into or strapping onto a pack, and the carbon fiber construction handles the elements well in the field.

Remington 700 Action Compatibility

Mile High Shooting carries all three MDT chassis systems for Remington 700 footprints. The ACC Elite is available for Remington 700 short action. The ACC Premier Gen2 and HNT26 are both offered for Remington 700 short action and long action CIP, giving long-action shooters in calibers like .300 Win Mag or 7mm Rem Mag two solid chassis options.
