The SAN-1 reticle maintains a clear upper field to preserve situational awareness. A 0.2-mil illuminated center dot provides an immediate focal reference without obscuring the target, while 2-mil primary stadia enable fast alignment under varying lighting conditions. Chevrons at 2.5 mils support intuitive moving-target engagements with harsh marks providing elevation and wind holds. A 0.4 mil reference cross at 5 mils above center supports loophole shots and laser rangefinder verification.

Moving-target holds are for immediate use without calculation. The 2.5 mil chevron tip corresponds to 5 MPH, the chevron intersection to 6 MPH, and the 4.0 mil main stadia to 7.5 MPH. These hold close align with 5.56 (77gr @ 2850 fps) and 6.5 (140 gr @ 2750 fps), covering realistic movement speeds.

The SAN-1 reticle focuses on essential information, reducing visual distraction. Simple yet advanced in execution, the SAN-1 is equally effective for hunting, competition, and duty use, providing rapid engagement across a wide range of environments.
