After several years of having the Abel Table in use universally by competitive shooters, MIL/LE snipers and hunters, Abel Co decided it was time for some upgrades. They trimmed off unnecessary features and added a variety of features that will better support the end user and allow for a myriad of soon-to-be-released accessories. The Gen 2 is the result of sitting down with end users and hearing what they had to say.
The Abel Table still features an integrated ARCA rail; however, it is now compatible with the R-LOK system from Really Right Stuff (RRS). Additionally, the Abel Table now has a total of (26) 1/4-20 threaded holes and (1) 3/8-16, which will allow the use of current and new accessories currently in development. The Abel Table is now furnished with only 2 flush cup mounts on one side, while the other side saw the flush cups replaced with 1/4-20 threaded holes to allow for compatibility with new accessories that Abel Company will be releasing. Of course, the Abel Table Gen 2 still has bino cutouts and is equipped with MLOK slots that will allow the user to attach a variety of accessories that are MLOK compatible.
